5th project idea...

For my fifth project HCCSA is working on putting together "farmer pages" for all of the farmers that contribute to the growing seasons with the CSA. There will be a farmer bio, blog, list of things they grow, photos of them at their farm, and quotes from them. This will be a place on the web where possible buyers and contributors will go to meet the people growing their food and get more  of a personal experience from HCCSA. They have about 25 different farmers so, they want a different web page for each farmer. It will be a good challenge to not make each page look the same, and to make each page have a different personality. I also want to design a recipe book for HCCSA to use as another way of making profit. They send out news letters, and each news letter has a different recipe in it. This recipe book would be a collection of all of the published recipes. I would develop a design system for the book and make it something that would be useful.

Communication Goals

 The communication goals of the poster are:

            -tell what HCCSA is
            -explain how HCCSA works
            -inform about how to get involved in HCCSA
            -show HCCSA as a friendly organization
            -organic
            -tell about the pick up dates
            -from farm to your plate
            -bringing local farmers and local eaters together

I want my viewer to:
           
            -go to HCCSA online
            -purchase a share from HCCSA
            -inquire more about the organization
            -be excited about eating organically
            -be attracted to the poster

The communication goals of my logo are:

            -to show HCCSA as a fresh organization
            -to show HCCSA as local
            -friendly
            -welcoming
            -essential
            -affordable
           

I want my viewer to:
           
            -want to find out more about HCCSA
            -be excited to eat organically
            -be intrigued visually
            -to develop a relationship

The communication goals of my brochure are:

            -to show family orientation
            -to show how fun it is to work for you food
            -to provide recipes of things to make from your food
            -to give information about the farmers
            -to show the numerous food options that are available
            -to intrigue viewers visually
            -to be easy to read and understand
            -have good directions to follow
            -be visually appealing to all genders and ages
            -be something people want to pick up and keep
            -be a piece of art
            -be a reference to refer back to

I want my viewer to:
           
            -pick up the brochure
            -be led around easily through it
            -get excited about HCCSA
            -order a share of food
            -donate money to the farmers for land
            -build a relationship with the organization
            -think it is designed well

            -know exactly what they need to do

The communication goals of my website are:

            -to be a fun space
            -to be easy to navigate
            -show that HCCSA is warm and friendly
            -show how to order shares
            -help Boone become more locally grown
            -have recipes and fun things to learn and do
            -ways to preserve your food
            -seem fresh
            -make you hungry to buy a share
            -be transitional throughout the different growing seasons
            -have farmer profile pages to learn more about where food comes from
